You now have more flexibility in how invoices are delivered. Choose to send invoices by email, print, or both, and easily send or resend invoices whenever needed.

Enhanced invoice editing allows updating invoice dates and due dates, correcting billing errors, aligning invoices with real-world timelines, cleaning up historical data during reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records.

We’ve redesigned invoice statuses to give you clearer visibility into every stage of the billing lifecycle. Invoices now move through a structured workflow: Pending → Posted → Sent → Paid / Voided / Forgiven In addition, each invoice displays a secondary status for added context: Future — Scheduled but not yet active Active — Currently open and payable Past Due — Payment deadline has passed This new structure helps you optimize billing oversight, reduce confusion, and quickly identify what needs attention—without digging into individual invoices. It’s a clearer, more intuitive way to manage invoicing at scale.

Property structures come in all shapes and sizes, from single-family homes with shared spaces to multi-unit buildings and roommate-style layouts. DoorSpot’s new Hierarchical Units feature lets you organize units in a flexible structure that matches exactly how your properties operate in real life.

You now have complete control over when owners gain access to their portal. Use the new Auto-Invite toggle to decide whether owners are invited automatically or only when you’re ready. Turn Auto-Invite ON → Owners receive portal access immediately after being added. Turn Auto-Invite OFF → Set everything up first, then send the invite manually when the time is right. This gives you more flexibility and ensures owners see exactly what you want them to see when you’re ready for them to log in.

Tenants can now download their invoice PDFs directly from the portal. Tenants log in to the Portal. Open the Invoices section. Select Download PDF on any invoice. It’s simple, secure, and always accessible.

Keep your workspace clear with the new collapsing menu. You can now expand or collapse the side navigation, giving you more room to work. Click the arrows at the bottom of the gray navigation bar to enter full-screen mode. The site keeps your preference for next time.

Pay vendors, refund guests, or send owner payouts all without leaving the platform. DoorSpot connects with LOB to verify your request and send a physical check via priority mail. From Settings, connect your Bank Account > More options > Enable Checks

Your emails now match your brand. DoorSpot automatically pulls your logo, reply-to contact information, and footer details into your custom email templates — polishing communication between you and your clients. Go to Settings > Communications > Edit your Reply-to email details.

Conversations just got more visual. You can now upload or choose existing images, embed custom content, and add hyperlinks to shared documents directly from the conversation text area.

We’ve added “Dens/Office” as a filter in the Units view to see which spaces have dedicated work areas quickly.

Do you need to fix a name or refresh invoice details? You can now edit invoices for name corrections and refresh them to sync with the reservation or contact information. Click More options on an invoice > Edit Invoice.
